Japanese Noodle! This is really nice!
Great bento and raman
Champon noodle is very yummy!! Ramen is disappointed. Cleanliness is good. Very nice service!
MoreI have visited this place several times. Consistently great service. Lot of items on the menu. Portions are huge and tasty. I tried chicken karage this time. Fried checken was pretty good. Plate comes fully loaded and also with soup. Great value for rice. Worthwhile visiting this place.
MoreVery nice for Japanese food.Clean and gourmet style.People are nice and gentle. What can be better ?
MoreRinger Hut: the best place to get noodles that's not too light like pho and not to heavy like ramen; the Nagasaki Champon is goldilocks of noodles. The Miso Maro Champon, one of the items on their special menu changed my image of the their champon they served in the past. The tender ingredients such as squid and shrimp was great along with the hearty soup. The best part about Ringer Hut is the unique desserts you can't find anywhere else in the Bay Area. The Green Tea Heaven is my #1 favorite which I order everytime I eat here. It has green tea ice cream with frosted flakes, then it's topped with green tea mousse and whip cream with a scoop of azuki bean paste. What surprised me the most was the Eclair Fruits, just like its literal meaning in French, the Eclair Fruits will blow you away with its sweet mellow toppings and rich custard.
MoreGood size menu with lots to choose from: ramen, bento boxes, tonkatsu curry, yakisoba, etc. Service is slow as they just reopen and they don't offer Togo yet. I like the Nagasaki Champon with lots of veggies and milky broth.
MoreThe review is only based on the ramen and takoyaki. The soup base for tonkatsu ramen is good, but the noodle is too soft, the egg yolk is overcooked and not like soft one in the menu picture, and the chashu is too hard to chew on. The tako in the takoyaki is a really tiny piece. You can even swallow it without chewing on it. Since this restaurant is famous for the champon, it might not be fair to judge it by other dishes. The decorations, the atmosphere, and the attendants are all very nice and pleasing.
MoreWent with my Japanese calligraphy teacher. We all ordered the regular champon. It was tasty and the portion size was generous (with veggies too, which was appreciated) but not overwhelming. The price was reasonable for the Bay Area.
MoreFast friendly service, wait staff was very attentive. Food was Oishi... will definitely return to try other menu items!
MoreReturn customer. The best Champon bowl around. The other bento box lunches are good as well. I will be back again.
MoreDecent Ramen, nice place, friendly staff, reasonably priced. Good wasabi. Not a very vegetarian friendly place. All broth bases & sauces have pork.
MoreBest place to get food when in a rush. Their customer service is prompt, rates are convenient, fantastic vibes. I highly recommend this spot.
MoreFirst time having the chasu ramen. I usually have the champons. They're very generous with the chasu but the flavor of the broth and chasu wasn't what I expected. It was a bit light but still good. I added the chilli oil and powder to enhance the flavor and give a little more depth. The ramen was cooked well where it still had a nice bite.
MoreFriendly staff and unique cuisine
Love this place ~ Champon is great , katsu curry is also good~ but tonkotsu ramen is so-so compare with others. Will be here soon ~
MoreThis is a great place for some good Japanese soup and other goodies! I have been coming for years for my "Champon" fix, the special from Nagasaki! I also really like the Japanese style chicken curry!
MoreCan't expect much from a fast food chain. Pricey for what you get.
This was the first visit after their renovation. Great interior and decorative. Always crowded..need to go earlier to avoid long wait. Had Nagasaki Sarandon, this dish was delicious and very tasty. The soup base for champion was great also. They have lots of options on their mean. Strongly recommand.
MoreI have ate at Ringer hut about 4-5 times and this place has always delivered. Service is always great and the food is always consistent. I usually order the spicy champon because it has a lot of veggies and a spice level that I’m comfortable with. The prices are the lowest among all ramen shops in the Bay Area, so i always add the gyoza combo and sometimes add a dinner curry plate when I’m starving. I usually take home the remaining curry because I never finish 2 entrees but I don’t know which is better between the Champon and curry? For this who don’t know what Champon is, it’s similar to ramen but with a lot more stir fried veggies, specifically cabbage that is added on top of your bowl of noodle soup. It also includes some baby shrimp, small slices of pork or ground pork/beef and some fish cakes. This is a great alternative to ramen for someone who wants more veggies. Spicy Champon = $12
MoreIt was really good from the perspective of somebody who is not too familiar with Japanese food. The Japanese people we went there with also liked it, but were not blown away. Still a good restaurant imo.
MoreFood is always good. Staff are always Friendly. Same folks working there since like way back then.
MoreThis restaurant is my preferable restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I love it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to this restaurant. everytime I feel like having a special dinner, this restaurant comes straight to my mind. good and diverse food and a large list of dishes.well mannered staff, and nice atmosphere. Not less important, the charge is affordable. I recommend this spot with no hesitation.
MoreI'm glad that they are back again. Classic Chanpon noodle. Don't leave valuables in cars.
MoreHappy Sunday!! Had really nice dinner at late night!!
